CASTING CALL | THE PROJECT is a short video that received over 2.5 million views — going viral within the first 3 days of its release. What began between as an exploration between myself and 2 friends/fellow artists in the NYC community has expanded globally with coverage from over 25 major on-line publications.
CASTING CALL | THE PROJECT aims to continue a conversation on the necessary representation of complex, dynamic and original female characters in TV and Film. We believe that by creating communities where women’s thoughts, feeling’s and experiences are valued, we can begin to generate new material by women writers, producers, filmmakers, and actors. We find that in our support of one another, original content can be made — not through big budgets but by maximizing on individual skill sets and working together as a team.
